# CurlShot

CurlShot takes screenshots of web pages. It is two things in one: a free online tool at https://curlshot.com/ where anyone pastes a web address and downloads a screenshot, and an HTTP API for developers. Send a URL, HTML or Markdown and get back a png, jpeg, webp, pdf, mp4, webm, gif file (mp4, webm and gif are videos of the page scrolling from top to bottom). One endpoint does the work: `GET https://curlshot.com/api/v1/screenshot?access_key=YOUR_ACCESS_KEY&url=https://example.com`.
